Your First Visit
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we will schedule and conduct appointments. We want every patient to feel confident about coming to our office for appointments and surgical procedures. To ensure the safety of our patients and our staff, we have expanded safety measures to make the patient experience more efficient, comfortable and modern.
Here’s how we will handle first-time appointments and follow-up visits moving forward:
Pre-arrival check in: Whenever possible, all forms and co-pays will be handled remotely. Forms will be emailed to patients so they can be completed ahead of time. When patients arrive, they will call the front desk from their parking location. For the foreseeable future, patients will no longer check in at the front desk. Patients will be taken from the waiting room directly to the examination room.
Welcome station screening: As patients arrive, they will be given a mask, then screened for COVID-19 symptoms.
Staff and patient protection: All members of our team will comply with CDC guidelines and wear the required personal protective equipment at all times. We have also instituted screening and testing protocols for all members of our care team.
Disinfection and cleaning: Our location is thoroughly sanitized at night, and once during the day. All exam rooms are cleaned after each patient.
Visitors: Currently, we are not allowing visitors in the waiting room. Visitors can accompany patients until they enter the building, but then must remain outside until the exam or treatment is complete.
We will continue to promote safety while delivering the best possible care for our patients. We look forward to your next visit.
